What it does not include

This is not an official or full-length practice test. It is a product sample. It does not reproduce official questions, estimate an official scaled score, predict admission, or represent the duration and balance of the complete exam.

The open game pool contains 137 original items and has passed automated structural and deterministic answer checks. A dispute control on every question lets a family flag anything that needs another look. The optional elite level deliberately stretches past the likely grade-level test scope and is labeled accordingly.

How to use five questions well

  1. Let the student work independently without pressure to be perfect.
  2. Read each explanation, including after a correct answer.
  3. Ask the student to name the rule, evidence, or pattern in their own words.
  4. Replay mistakes after the set and choose one skill—not five—to revisit.
  5. Use a new example later to test whether the method transfers.

The four areas in the sample

Reading

Work from the passage, identify the author’s meaning, and support an answer with text evidence.

Written Expression

Recognize clearer, more correct sentence construction and standard English usage.

Mathematics

Use grade-level concepts and organized problem solving rather than answer-only guessing.

Ability

Identify relationships and patterns in verbal or visual-style reasoning formats.
